I am concerned, however, about the announced release date of April 2010. Iron Man is someone you don't want to - and furthermore, couldn't - be, but you can still like the character Something deep and methodical isn't going to work Iron Man just isn't that type of character. but honestly, as easy as it is to do a good Iron Man movie, it's just as easy to screw it up. So we've got a comic hero that inspired Robocop and a villain that partially inspired the Terminator. Mandarin comes to mind - and with China on the cusp of world domination, it's only fitting. Or use one of his many dated rogues gallery members. Or they could do one of the millions of "Drunk Tony" stories. And then sort of sweep under the rug the fact that the Tony behind the Iron Man mask is a teenager. I really hope they do "The Crossing", where Iron Man goes insane, and the Avengers have to travel into the past to recruit a teenage Tony Stark so they can use him to help defeat the Tony of the present. Iron Man is a really shallow well when it comes to quality storytelling.
